Zoop’s new wireless credit card reader is coming out soon.
Today, the 3D printer machine made the cut of the new reader mount and iPhone case. The swipe guide and cell phone mounting bracket will be made, and all of the bosses / screw mounts will be added so that this can be assembled nicely. Next, we will concentrate on the PCB, embedded software, and will be good to go!
This all-in-one mobile credit card reader works with magnetic stripe cards, EMV chip & pin, and contactless / NFC based payments. And, even better, it’s free!
Customer Loyalty & Rewards to Help Grow Your Business
At Zoop, we love Paper prototyping. It is probably the best tool we have to design great user experiences. It allows you to involve users early in the design process, and you can quickly incorporate direct feedback into a design.
Recently, we have been working on the design for the rewards tool of our mobile app, and we have been extensively using Paper prototypes.

The result is a streamlined tool that’s very easy to use. You can manage custom rewards program to recognize and reward best customers. By scanning the QR code or taping the NFC proximity reward card (Zoop Card), the application will automatically make sure the products that the customer has purchased have reward points associated to them, so you will see any rewards that are available.
Once scanned the QR code or read the punch card, the app will list the available rewards and progress. To redeem the reward, you can ask the customer which one he/she wants to use, if any. The reward will be applied at checkout as a discount.
